Manual Check-in/Check-out by Hotel Staff

The Guest Room Management System (GRMS) by NETxAutomation enables hotels to offer guests an intuitive way to control room settings through a user-friendly web interface. Check-in and check-out processes can be handled either manually by hotel staff or automatically through integrations with hotel management systems like Fidelio or Protel.

Check In

  • Guest Arrival: The receptionist initiates check-in via the GRMS web interface.
  • Recording Guest Information: Guest details, such as name and preferred language, are entered into the system and linked to the assigned room.
  • Providing the QR Code: The guest receives a printout containing a unique QR code.
  • Guest Access Setup: The QR code allows the guest to install the NETx mySmartSuite App and access the room's control interface.

Check Out

Upon the guest's departure, the receptionist uses the GRMS web interface to check out the room. This disables the guest’s access to room controls and resets guest information. If the guest tries to access the NETx Vision app after check-out, a customized farewell message is displayed.
