Finally, it is done - after years of development, we have a new major release of our NETx BMS Platform. The new one is called Release 3 (R3). The official version is R3 Build 1000.
But it needs time and effort. Please take a look at the upgrade guide for further information:

BMS Platform R3 comes with a new setup and thus it is installed as a new Windows program. It will not update the existing BMS Platform - if a BMS Platform with version <= R2 is installed on your Windows node, the new BMS Platform R3 will be installed in parallel.
BMS Platform R3 and a previous BMS Platform can be installed in parallel. However, it cannot run at the same time since some communication interfaces (WebManager, WebVisualization, BACnet, …) use the same communication port. When running in parallel, conflicts und unexpected behavior will occur.
From now on, there is only one single setup for BMS Platform and MP Server - the user can choose the product type during installation.
There is also a new Workspace Converter which can be used to upgrade from BMS Server 2.0 and from BMS Platform R2 to BMS Platform R3. A detailed documentation will follow in our Knowledge Base.
At first glance, the new R3 may not appear to be a major change. However, it represents a significant milestone. We have implemented key technological improvements that make our platform future‑proof. As a result, R3 provides a strong and reliable foundation for all upcoming innovations.
